Ruusu Open Mic 31.03.2019

The Helsinki Poetry Connection presents again its familiar, time-honored open stage concept – Ruusu Open Mic!

All poets, songwriters, rappers, and performers of all stripes are welcome to join likeminded souls in an evening of verbal revelry at Sörkan Ruusu (Pääskylänrinne 3) on Sunday, March 31st at 5 pm. The registration for open mic will happen in the beginning of the club. There are 30 places available for acts of max 4 minutes. You can also hook up your instrument or beats to our sound system (bring your own guitar cord).

March’s Ruusu Open Mic will feature warm-up acts by Leena Sainio and Joonas Sojakka.

Ruusu Open Mic, like all Helsinki Poetry Connection’s events is free from any discrimination. We don’t accept any racist or hateful content or behaviour.

Notes: Unfortunately, Sörkan Ruusu is non-accessible. At the main entrance ~ 20cm step and door ~ 60cm wide, side door ~ 20cm step and door ~ 55cm wide, no ramps.
