Ruusu Open Mic is back from summer holidays and invites you to grab the mic again! This Sunday stage poetry club starts at 5 pm with two invited warm up acts followed with the main event, that is the open mic itself.

• Septembers´ warm up acts include the wonderful poets Emma Duah and Jorma Vakkuri.
• Octobers´ Ruusu warm uppers are Finnish Poetry Slam finalists Heidi Aho and Toni Salminen.  In addition we we have POC Open Mic producer Tania Nathan as a guest host!
• In November Ruusu we get to enjoy the Finnish Poetry Slam winner´s, Solja Krapu´s, performance as well as young stage poets´, Mahiis´, impressive set.

The open mic slots are limited to 30 and you can register for them during the first break, right after the featured poets. Unfortunately you cannot reserve your spot in advance and the running order will be randomly drawn. Please, note that each open mic slot´s 4 min long.

Each performer is carefully listened to and cheered on especially, if it´s your first time! You can also hook up your instrument or beats to our sound system with your own cord.

Notes: Unfortunately, Sörkan Ruusu is non-accessible. At the main entrance ~ 20cm step and door ~ 60cm wide, side door ~ 20cm step and door ~ 55cm wide, no ramps.
